7. OZO EZEOGU (TOP TEN NIGERIAN COMIC BOOK ARTISTS)

It should come as no surprise that another Comic Republic artist makes this list. Ozo Ezeogu is one of those Artists no on really talks about, but when IT comes to the amount of work he’s done on titles for Comic Republic and on titles like Eru and Hero Generation, there’s no question that he more than deserves to be int the rankings.

He also happens to be one of those comic book artists that seems to be developing an art style of his own. His visceral and sometimes more artsy approach to drawing the characters and panels on titles like Eru (which he also co-created and writes for) makes his work different from most Nigerian comic books out there and that’s always a good thing in my book. But, he’s place in the rankings is justified simply by the amount of work in two separate titles that he has under his belt.

Here’s some of his art:

You can read some of the titles he works on here: ERU: Fear in the Dark or Hero Generation for free at thecomicrepublic.com.ng
